PURPOSE: A structure for preventing overheat of a reciprocating compressor is provided to contact air with an outer peripheral surface of a cylinder by exposing the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder, thereby effectively cooling compression heat generated in the cylinder to increase the efficiency of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A reciprocating motor has a mover reciprocating in a straight line. A compression unit has a piston reciprocating in a cylinder(110) inserted into a frame(120). A lubricating oil supply unit has a lubricating oil suction hole and a lubricating oil discharge hole to circulate lubricating oil to an outer peripheral surface of the cylinder. Plural cylinder fixing protrusions(122) are formed at an external surface of the frame in a circumference direction at certain gaps to support the cylinder.
