<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PC card capable of preventing intrusion of a foreign substance from an insertion port and easily attaching/detaching a memory card to/from the insertion port without applying an unnatural force to the memory card. <P>SOLUTION: The PC card is provided with a holder 4 fixed in a body case 3 of the PC card 1 on which the insertion port 30 is opened and with a holder engaging part 4a to be engaged in a card cover 6, a front engaging part 4b on which the tip part of the card cover 6 is abutted and a rear engaging part 4c on which the rear end of the card cover 6 is abutted and the card cover 6 to store the (memory) card 2 to be inserted/discharged as covering the insertion port 30 and to be engaged in the holder 4 to be advanced/retracted. The insertion port 30 is held as a constantly closed state by the card cover 6, the intrusion of the foreign substance from the insertion port 30 is prevented and the (memory) card 2 is easily inserted/discharged by a sliding action and a rotating action of the card cover 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
