<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punctiform light source attaching device that can make the distance from the light emitting point of a punctiform light source attached to the attaching surface of equipment provided with an optical system to the optical system, shorter than that of the conventional art. <P>SOLUTION: In order to adjust the angle of a semiconductor laser 1 which is constituted in the punctiform light source, curvatures are given to the spherical surface sections 9a and 10a respectively formed on first and second holders 9 and 10, so that the sections 9a and 10a may slide on the attaching surface 3a of the equipment on contrary sides.
