<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service based on the position of a device to solve problems of the conventional technology. <P>SOLUTION: The service is dependent on the position of the device. The position of the device is determined by using a DTV (digital TV) signal. More concretely, the position is determined from a pseudo distance between the device and a plurality of digital television (DTV) transmitters, and the pseudo distance is calculated by the DTV signal for broadcasting received by the device from the DTV transmitters.
