<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve properties of a polyester photographic multilayer film base. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming element has at least one photosensitive or thermosensitive image forming layer on a support comprising a biaxially-stretched film base, wherein the film base comprises (a) a first layer of a first poly(ethylene terephthalate)-based polyester material comprising one or more polyester resins and (b) a second layer of a second poly(ethylene terephthalate)-based polyester material comprising one or more polyester resins, which is adjacent to at least one side of the first layer. In the second poly(ethylene terephthalate)-based polyester material, the total level of repeating units derived from 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol is higher than mol% in the first layer, based on all glycol components in the material, and the difference of mol% of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, based on glycol components, between the first layer and the second layer is <50 mol%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
