PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna that is easily subjected to fine adjustment of impedance matching, and communication equipment using the antenna. SOLUTION: In this antenna, a radiation electrode 11, the one end of which is connected to a ground electrode terminal 26 and the other end of which is left open and a feeding electrode 16, one end of which is connected to a feeding terminal 21 and the other end of is left open and which is capacitively coupled with the radiation electrode are formed on surfaces of a base body 6 made of dielectric materials or magnetic materials, and a part of the feeding electrode 16 near the open end is thinner than the one end of the feeding electrode 16 toward the radiation electrode 11.
