PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is not easy to detect that a power line protection fuse for a pump up voltage in a convergence output circuit is blown, if occurring. SOLUTION: The convergence output apparatus comprises a convergence correcting signal generator circuit 10 for generating a convergence correcting signal for a color picture tube 50; power switching circuit 30, 40 for switching over and outputting two kinds of high and lower power voltages Vcc2, Vcc1; an amplifier circuit 21 for amplifying the convergence correcting signal outputted from the signal generator circuit 10, using the power voltages fed from the power switching circuits 30, 40; and a voltage drop detector circuit 60 for detecting some voltage drop of the higher power voltage Vcc2 between the power switching circuits 30, 40, so that signals for displaying an image are blocked from being inputted to the color picture tube 50, if the voltage drop detector circuit 60 detects the voltage drop of the higher power voltage Vcc2.
