PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio/video data storage reproducing apparatus for ensuring a sufficient transmission band even at special reproduction in addition to ordinary reproduction without the need for extending a resource. SOLUTION: The audio/video data storage reproducing apparatus includes an audio data transmission path to transmit packetized audio data to an AV decoder for ordinary reproduction and a video data transmission path to transmit packetized video data to the AV decoder for the ordinary reproduction or special reproduction, and transmits the video data to the AV decoder by using both the audio data transmission path and the video data transmission path in the case of performing the special reproduction.
