PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain placing of a limit to illegitimate communication even when the illegitimate communication is made from any of information apparatuses belonging to a network system to another information apparatus and to avoid a communication load from being concentrated onto a firewall. SOLUTION: A firewall 14 for one of terminals 15 in each of the terminals 15 is connected in the vicinity of the terminal 15 so as to pass all of transmission reception packets communicated between the terminal 15 and a switch 13. Even when illegitimate communication A is transmitted, a terminal firewall 14a inhibits transmission of the illegitimate communication A from a terminal 15a and the terminal firewall 14a inhibits reception of the illegitimate communication A by the terminal 15a. The discrimination about whether or not the communication A is the illegitimate communication is made by using contents of passing packets (transmission reception packets) by the transmission reception of the terminal 15 on the basis of the setting of the firewall 14 for the terminal.
