PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving handrail device for a middle part, high speed passenger conveyor consisting of low-speed handrails and a high-speed handrail and arranged so that each passenger is promoted positively to make re-grasping of the two sorts of handrails in each mutual adjoining part. SOLUTION: The moving handrail device is structured so that a passenger got on a footboard 3 from the get-on place 2 first grasps a low-speed handrail 6 and then makes re-grasping to the high-speed handrail 7 for traveling at a higher speed. A notice giving device 8 is installed in the mutual adjoining part between the low-speed 6 and the high-speed handrail 7 and gives a notice visually about re-grasping to the passenger traveling in grasping the low-speed handrail 6 using the visual notice giving function which the device 8 has. This enables promoting positively the passenger on a footboard 3 for re-grasping of the handrails in the mutual adjoining part and can prevent the passenger from grasping the low-speed handrail 6 continuously which may result in such an inconvenience that his hand is drawn into the opening existing between the two parts or the like.
