PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping pretreatment apparatus for combine harvester solving the problem that a conventional reaping pretreatment apparatus K is designed to push upward a reaping vertical cylinder B provided along the flank of a reaping drive shaft case( reaping frame ) A while extending the cylinder B, therefore a bending moment develops during rising and the reaping drive shaft case A deforms opposite to the cylinder B. SOLUTION: This reaping pretreatment apparatus 9 has the following construction: The basal portion of a reaping frame 5 formed in a T-shaped fashion by linking to the front portion a reaping transmission frame 6 turned sideways is linked to a reaping input metal 3 provided on a reaping suspension platform 2, and a reaping vertical cylinder 10 is provided along the flank of the reaping frame 5 and this apparatus 9 is designed to make a vertical motion through the cylinder 10, and the reaping frame 5 is linked to the reaping input metal 3 in such a manner as to retain an angle tilting toward the cylinder 10 viewed from the top.
