<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording ink composition which excels in storage stability and discharge stability and can form a recorded image having good water resistance without causing bleeding, color mixing, offsetting and the like. <P>SOLUTION: This ink composition comprises a pigment, a glycol ether, a water dispersion resin, an ethylene oxide-propylene oxide block copolymer of formula (1): R<SP>1</SP>O-(C<SB>3</SB>H<SB>6</SB>O)<SB>a</SB>-(C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>O)<SB>b</SB>-R<SP>2</SP>(wherein one of R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>is a 6-30C alkyl group and the other is a hydrogen atom; a is an integer of 1 to 20; and b is an integer of 1 to 40), a straight-chain secondary alcohol compound of formula (2) (wherein x and y are each an integer of 0-12; m is a positive number of 1-10; and n is a positive number of 1-7), and water, and the content of the ethylene oxide-propylene oxide block copolymer of formula (1) is 0.1-5 wt.% based on the entire ink amount, and simultaneously the content of the straight-chain secondary alcohol compound of formula (2) is 0.1-2.5 wt.% based on the entire ink amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
