<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To orderly take out a portion (print bundle) from each image forming apparatus in an image forming system where a plurality of image forming apparatuses are connected. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming system where a plurality of image forming apparatuses 80 to 83 equipped with a reading means to read the image of an original, a printing means to print the read image and a control means to perform a linking copying mode for printing the read image in cooperation with another image forming apparatus in a shared state by transferring the read image to another image forming apparatus are connected through a communication line, the respective image forming apparatuses 80 to 83 are equipped with a rotary sorting copying function for changing the direction (longitudinal/lateral) of transfer paper for every printing part, and paper directions at the printing top part of the image forming apparatus 80 being assigned to be one's own machine and the image forming apparatuses 81 to 83 being assigned to be other's machines are decided according to the distributed number of jobs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
