<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve deployment characteristics of a side airbag while suppressing the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag device 31 is incorporated in the outside part of a back part 12 of a seat 10 of an automobile. A roll-shaped gathering part 42 and a guide part 41 along the both sides of the gathering part 42 are provided when the airbag 30 is folded. When gas is injected from an inflator 33 disposed in the airbag 30, the guide part 41 is quickly deployed initially and a projected port can be largely formed by cleaving a cleavage part 40 of the seat 10.
