<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station receiver having stable synchronization decision accuracy even when the number of PILOT bits used is small for frame synchronization decision. <P>SOLUTION: A path search section 12 outputs path information 102 through supplementary processing from a received BB (Base Band) signal. A finger section 11 applies inverse spread processing to the received BB signal 101 on the basis of the path information 102 and performs processing of channel estimate, RAKE synthesis, SIR estimate and calculation of the number of GAPs. A decode section 13 applies decode processing to a PILOT data sequence 104 after the RAKE synthesis and outputs PILOT bit information (the number of erroneous PILOT bits) 107 in one wireless frame and the number of PILOT bits 106 of each TS. An SIR threshold offset calculation section 14 calculates an SIR offset value 108 on the basis of GAP number information 105 and the PILOT data sequence 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
