PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately solve the problem wherein an oil suction hole is closed with foreign matters resulting from remaining flux to be used in brazing a low pressure refrigerant transfer pipe to an accumulator. SOLUTION: A tank 2 is prepared which has an outward burring tube 11 formed at the center of a top wall of the tank forming the accumulator 1. The pipe end of the low pressure refrigerant transfer pipe 3 is gently inserted through the outward burring tube 11, and the pipe 3 is temporarily locked to the outward burring tube 11 by giving point caulking 19 to the outward burring tube 11 at a plurality of points. A brazing material ring 7 is arranged on the end face of the outward burring tube 11 while being externally inserted into the pipe 3 and carried into a heating furnace via a conveyor, where the brazing material ring 7 is melted. It is forced to permeate between the outer peripheral face of the pipe end of the pipe 3 and the inner peripheral face of the burring tube 11, and then the tank 2 is carried into a cooling furnace via a conveyor, where the melted brazing material is urged to be hardened.
