PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outside appearance image developing mirror device capable of efficiently observing and inspecting a plurality of works and projecting the outside appearance image of the work more largely than in the conventional manner, and an automatic outside appearance image inspecting system. SOLUTION: When facing a center mirror 21 from an opposite side to the work 90 while putting the mirror 21 in between, the outside appearance image obtained by viewing the work 90 obliquely from all the sides is reflected on the mirror 21 from an annular mirror 11 and is observed by the outside appearance image developing mirror device 50. Namely, all the side surfaces of the work 90 are observed at a time from one direction. Besides, since the vertical section of the mirror 11 forms concave structure, the outside appearance image of the work 90 is extended in a longitudinal direction and projected, whereby the detail of the work 90 is easily inspected.
