PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended particulate matter concentration measuring apparatus which can perform the measurement at higher sensitivity and a filter tape for use in measuring the concentration of suspended particulate matter. SOLUTION: In the suspended particulate matter concentration measuring apparatus D, which measures the concentration of the suspended particulate matter 6 in the atmosphere A collected by a measurement spot 33, in which the atmosphere A' passes through, by suction from one surface side 5A to the other surface side 5B of the filter tape 5 for measuring the suspended particulate matter, and in which the measurement spot 33 is formed on the filter tape 5, the filter tape 5 is composed of a porous film 37, made of a fluororesin and a reinforcement layer 38 having permeability provided on the porous film 37.
