PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply measure a concentration of a specified ion of an analyte such as sodium ion contained in seawater-containing water, without carrying out troublesome work of collecting the seawater-containing water to conduct laboratory analysis. SOLUTION: The seawater-containing water is collected to measure the concentration of the analyte ion and an electric conductivity, a linear relational expression between the analyte ion and the electric conductivity is found preliminarily based thereon, and the electric conductivity of the seawater-containing water to be measured is applied to the linear relational expression to measure easily the concentration of the anlayte in the seawater-containing water.
