PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas chromatography device for simultaneously analyzing volatile organic compounds by a mass spectrometer and by a gas chromatography detector. SOLUTION: A heating desorption device 3 heats a collection tube 2 with a specimen being a measuring object trapped therein to desorb the specimen gas. A separation column 4 separates the specimen gas into respective constituents being volatile organic compounds. A split device 5 mounted on an outlet of the column 4 appropriately flow-divides according to a prescribed split ratio, by a split method, the separated organic compounds to the gas chromatography detector 6 side and to the mass spectrometer 7 side. The organic compounds are simultaneously infused into the gas chromatography detector 6 and the mass spectrometer 7 to perform qualitative/quantitative analyses. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
