PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multi-functional manual tool device having an ATC safety module which always functions in a mode which should be protected. SOLUTION: An axial moving sensor 4 is connected with the ATC safety module 1 in the multi-functional manual tool device provided with a tool containing portion 7 for carrying out an axial direction strike at least partially, a safety clutch 8 disposed in a transmitting route between the tool containing portion 7 and an electric motor 6, a manually operated housing and the ATC safety module 1 having a torsional sensor 3 for sensing an angular movement. The control method of the ATC safety module 1 comprising a first step for carrying out the calculation of the torsional movement of the housing, a second step for producing a binary controlling signal 5 when a torsional amount is forced to exceed a torsional threshold value 13a, and a final step for securely isolating transmission between the electric motor 6 and the tool containing portion 7 is made to additionally carry out also the calculation of the axial movement of the housing at the first step, and it is also made such that the deterrence of the binary controlling signal 5 can apply when the axial movement amount is forced to exceed the axial direction threshold 13b at the second step.
