PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher for solving the following problem that when the capacity of an installed motor of the crusher goes beyond waste lumber, thinned wood or the like having irregular shapes and a large tree or the like, they are thrown and kept as they are, and cannot be continuously crushed. SOLUTION: The crusher rotatably supports a pair of rotary shafts having blade bodies at horizontal bases inside a hopper, and rotates the rotary shafts by a drive source. When the crusher detects that a crushing load reaches a set value during crushing a material to be crushed, the blade bodies rotate backward for a set time to discharge the pushed-in material to be crushed. The crusher is equipped with a means for continuously return-controlling to a forward rotation, and surfacing guides for the material to be crushed at a reverse rotation at the upper position of the right and left blade bodies on the inner wall of the hopper. With the constitution, even the material to be crushed requires for the load of the capacity of the drive motor installed in the crusher or more, the material can repeatedly and continuously be crushed by applying the crushing load within a set load.
