<p>An improved design for a sliding clasp fastener has the pull tag (1) connected to the slider housing (5) via a ball and socket joint (20, 21) and a hinge (4) to enable the tag to operate on the fastener in any orientation. The ball and socket joint has the socket (21) fitted into one edge of the pull tag and with the ball (20) fitted to a hinge (3) on the slider. Alternately the ball and socket are fitted to the slider and connected to the pull tag by a hinge. The hinge comprises a hinge bar (40) and a rotating housing (30) and with the hinge bar supported between two flanges (50). The pull tag has a hole (11) for securing a logo plate or name plate.</p> |
