The device consists essentially of an extruded continuos band with longitudinal segments forming wall sections joined together by hinges and/or fold points. The band can be aligned along the hinge and/or fold points to form a U-shaped base body (1). The base body consists of a floor (5) and two parallel side walls (2), whereby an element (4) arranged on the side wall near the hinge and/or fold points protrudes away from them. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an arrangement for manufacturing an inventive device (b) and a method of manufacturing an inventive device.
