<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide desorption method for efficiently desorbing carbon dioxide from zeolite having adsorbed carbon dioxide for a short time. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for desorbing adsorbed carbon dioxide from an A-type or X-rype zeolite adsorbent by bringing a mixed gas comprising at least two kinds of components containing carbon dioxide into contact with the A-type or X-rype zeolite adsorbent with an Si/Al atomic ratio of 1.0 to 1.5, the temperature (Ta) at the time of contact of the mixed gas with the adsorbent is -50 to 100°C and the pressure (Pa) is 1 to 5 atm. The temperature (Tb), the pressure (Pb) and the regeneration purge ratio (Rb) at the time of desorption of carbon dioxide from the adsorbent satisfy at least two formulae among formula (1), Ta+35≤Tb(°C)≤Ta+235, formula (2), 0.001≤Pb(atm)≤1 and formula (3), 1≤Rb(%)≤50 äwherein the regeneration purge ratio (%) is regeneration purge ratio (%) = [regeneration purge gas amount/(inlet gas amount × desorbing pressure/adsorbing pressure)] ×100}. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
