<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting proper binding of a fixture to a channel of an endoscope and the other medical appliance for improving speed and effectiveness for removing pollution of the endoscope and the other medical appliance. <P>SOLUTION: This method detects the proper binding of the fixture to one or a plurality of channels of the endoscope, and includes a process for arranging a first opening of at least one channel in liquid among one or the plurality of channels, a process for supplying gas in the channel, a process for pulling a certain quantity of liquid in the channel by vacuum-exhausting the gas via a second opening of the channel and a process for detecting air leakage into the channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
