<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a well-balanced improvement of high durability, high heat resistance, resistance to chemicals, suitability for embossing process, adhesive properties of printing ink, ease of embedding stripes for magnetic recording and laser printability, in particular, to ameliorate restrictions and shortcomings in the co-extrusion molding of a resin. <P>SOLUTION: This information recording medium 10 is constituted of at least three base materials such as a first surface base material 1 made of a thermoplastic polymer resin, a center core 7 as a base material made of the thermoplastic polymer resin and a second surface base material 2 made of the thermoplastic polymer resin, laminated relatively in that order in their positional relationship. The thermoplastic polymer resins used for the first and the second surface base material 1 and 2 are each a crystalline thermoplastic polymer resin base material 12 and 22 biaxially oriented. The first surface base material 1 and the second surface base material 2 have an amorphous thermoplastic polymer resin layer 11 and 23 formed with a thickness of 2 to 50μm on the surface of the remote side of the materials 1 and 2 from the center core 7 respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
