PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting fitting and a lighting device which are able to be connected and set up even if sizes of a plurality of main bodies of fixtures are different due to manufacturing errors, and in which the ground connection is also surely attained. SOLUTION: According to this embodiment, since both main bodies 5, 5 of fixtures can be easily connected with the connecting fitting 2 by providing a specified space part 25 between the fixing part 22 and the connecting part 23, a fault by a manufacturing error is dissolved. Since the ground connection by a protrusion 24 is attained in the part which cannot be easily influenced by dimension errors of the main bodies 5, 5 of the fixtures, the ground connection can be attained surely while workability is improved.
