PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature core for a rotating electric machine capable of attaining easier assembly work for stacking sheets into a solid core. SOLUTION: Pole teeth members 2 corresponding to the number of poles consists of a plurality of first sheets 6 and second sheets 10. The first sheets 6 have layered pole teeth 3 formed on one end side, and a base 5 formed on the other end side with a predetermined shape. In the second sheets 10, at least one piece of the pole teeth is inserted in different positions from the others in the same layering direction as the first sheets 6. The pole teeth 3 are formed on one end side, and a layered portion 9 protruded from the base 5 is freely engaged with the end surface of the base 5 of the first sheets 6. Through holes 7 are formed in the prescribed positions, and a back yoke 8 is formed together with the base 5 on the other end side. The pole teeth 2 thus assembled are combined in a radial direction with the positions of the through holes 7 in the respective layered portions 9 aligned. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
