PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developing device capable of efficiently using filters which remove gas components generated during heating of a heat developable photosensitive material, and to provide filters for the heat developing device and a method for replacing filters. SOLUTION: The heat developing device comprises a filter section 50 for removing gas components generated during heat development of a film by heating, wherein each filter 51-54 is divided into a plurality of parts along a ventilation path and the divided filter exhibits removing function in one. Since the filters are replaced one by one when removing capacity is lost, each filter can be efficiently used.
