JOINT STRUCTURE OF PLATE GLASS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a joint material filled into a second joint part from being broken when plate glass and a glass rib are relatively displaced so as to leave from each other in the orthogonal direction relative to the plate face of the plate glass. SOLUTION: In this joint structure of the plate glass, the joint material 4 is filled into a first joint part 16 in which end faces of adjacent plate glasses 3 oppose each other and a second joint part 17 in which the side end face 14 of the glass rib 2 thicker than a joint width B1 in the first joint part opposes the first joint part side substantially in parallel while it is overlapped on both of adjacent plate glasses. The joint material filled into the second joint part is divided into right and left parts in the direction in which the end faces of adjacent plate glasses oppose each other.
