PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage can with a deodorizing device easy to handle and providing a long lasting deodorizing effect. SOLUTION: The garbage can with a deodorizing device comprises a container 1; a fan 2 for causing the wind; a gas transporting passage 3 for guiding the air inside the container 1 toward the outside; a light transmitting section 4 arranged on the outside of the container 1 in the gas transporting passage 3; and a photocatalyst type deodorizer 5 arranged on the light transmitting section 4.
