PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required for transporting one load. SOLUTION: Lower plates 52 making a pair are provided on both sides of a load placing board, and approach or separate from each other in a horizontal orthogonal direction in regard to a transporting direction of the load placing board by an opening/closing mechanism. An upper plate 70 is provided on each lower plate 52 so as to move in the transporting direction, and moved by a forward/backward moving mechanism 71 and a forward/backward driving mechanism 81. On the upper plate 70, a pair of hook portions 80A, 80B capable of simultaneously engaging with end portions in near sides of two trays aligned in the transporting direction is provided. When the forward/backward moving mechanism 71 and the forward/backward driving mechanism 81 move the upper plate 70 while the hook portions 80A, 80B are engaged with both trays by the opening/closing mechanism, two loads are simultaneously moved, and picking up of a load and putting down of a load are simultaneously conducted.
