BUMPER DEVICE OF AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a vehicle main body part and to improve safety of an occupant by suppressing displacement amount of a bumper reinforce 11 low even with the same collision energy. SOLUTION: This bumper device is constituted of the bumper reinforce 11 and a reinforcing member 12 fixed to a center part of the longitudinal direction on the front surface side. The bumper reinforce 11 is made of an aluminum alloy extruded member having rectangular cross section. The reinforcing member 12 is made of an aluminum alloy extruded member having rectangular cross section and projected wall parts 12e and 12f extending from upper and lower sides of the rear wall 12b to a rear side. Rear ends of the projected wall parts 12e and 12f of the reinforcing member 12 are welded on upper wall parts 11c and 11d of the bumper reinforce 11 along the longitudinal direction (welding parts; Wc, Wd).The rear wall part 12b of the reinforcing member 12 is in surface contact with a front wall part 11a of the bumper reinforce 11.
