<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold an image forming apparatus in a stabilized attitude readily without requiring any jig when the image forming apparatus is held while changing the attitude during assemblage. <P>SOLUTION: In the frame 1 for an image forming apparatus having members 21, 23, 24 and 25 for supporting an outer frame cover or the image forming apparatus formed at an upper part, and a base part 3 for erecting the image forming apparatus on an installation plane formed at a lower part, a protrusion 251 having a forward end set to form a plane substantially flush with the forward end of the supporting members 21 and 23 is provided at an upper part of the frame. The protrusion 251 is provided at such a position as the frame 1 for the image forming apparatus can be supported by the forward end of the protrusion 251 and the forward end of the supporting members 21 and 23 under a state where frame 1 for the image forming apparatus is turned upside down. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
