<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce irregularity of pole interval and surface magnetic flux density and cogging torque and lessen machining in a pole anisotropic ring magnet. <P>SOLUTION: In the pole anisotropic ring magnet, orientation direction of magnetic powder or magnetization direction is arranged sinusoidally to an angle in the peripheral direction. Irregularity of distance between adjacent poles of pole position where the surface flux density becomes maximum and a pole position, or irregularity of angles is at most 10%. Irregularity of peak values of the surface magnetic flux density in the vicinity of poles is at most 5%. The polar isotropic ring magnet is suitable for a magnet for industry, an automobile, transfer of semiconductor devices and rotary machine like a generator which need a high induced voltage and low cogging torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
