<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire easily deformable, and hardly emitting gas in vacuum; and to provide a manufacturing method of the electric wire. <P>SOLUTION: This electric wire 10 is used in vacuum, can be forcibly cooled from the outside, and comprises: a hollow metallic outer tube 11; a hollow inner tube 12 disposed in the outer tube 11 and formed of a conductive material; and an insulating layer 15 formed between the outside surface of the inner tube 12 and the outer tube 11. When a cooling medium such as water is run in the inner tube 12, the wire 10 can forcibly be cooled, so that damage of the wire 10 caused by heat generation can be prevented. When the wire 10 is used in a space kept in a vacuum state, even if air remains between the inner tube 12 and the outer tube 11, or a material emitting gas in vacuum is used for the insulating layer 15, degradation of the degree of vacuum of the space with the wire 10 installed can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
