<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device that directs glass with desired colors in a mosaic state. <P>SOLUTION: This illumination device is composed of an ultraviolet ray light source having an ultraviolet ray LED arranged so as to introduce the ultraviolet ray into the inside of a plate member while a plate state part containing a fluorescent material composed of an inorganic or organic material is coupled to a coupling part composed of a transparent silicon resin and forms one sheet of the plate member, and the fluorescent material of the plate state part is excited by light from the ultraviolet ray light source to emit the light.
