CARD CONNECTOR WITH COUNTERMEASURE AGAINST FALLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector hardly broken even if it receives impact in falling or the like.

SOLUTION: This card connector comprises: a frame part 1 for guiding the insertion of a card; and a base part 2 holding contacts 11 connected to the card. The frame part and the base part are detachably engaged and held with/to each other. The frame part is provided with at least one projection 7 adjacent to the base part and projecting toward the same side as the base part. Thus, impact force applied from the card is received by the projection(s).
