<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, including front and back superposing display means to thereby make a mobile display so that a back display image jumps forward, whereby a depth effect (a three-dimensional effect) is produced to make an impact variable display as compared with the display on one display screen. <P>SOLUTION: A variable display device has two liquid crystal panels disposed in layer on the front and back, and a backlight disposed on the back thereof. An opaque image on the front liquid crystal panel is made fluoroscopic to disappear so that a display on the back liquid crystal panel can be seen through the fluoroscopic part. After that, the display image on the back liquid crystal panel is displayed on the front liquid crystal panel by switching, and a next image is displayed on the back liquid crystal panel.
