<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically warm drain water by using cooled sucked air for warming the drain water. <P>SOLUTION: A drain pan 2 is provided for storing drain water aggregated by an air-cooling medium heat exchanger 1 of an air-conditioner and a drain water temperature rise heat exchanger 5 is arranged on the air-cooling medium heat exchanger 1 in its suction region on the upstream side of the cooled sucked air. The drain water in the drain pan 2 is carried into a drain pipe 3 by a pump 4. The drain pipe 3 passes through a warming fin 13 of the drain water temperature rise heat exchanger 5. The drain water is warmed by the drain water temperature rise heat exchanger 5 performing heat exchange with the cooled sucked air. The temperature of the drain water is higher than a dew condensing temperature and no dew condensation occurs on the outer peripheral face of the drain pipe 3 without the need for lapping a heat insulating material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
