<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce overflow of a real-time communication in performing communication by a combination of non-real-time communication of LAN data such as 100BASE-TX etc. and real-time communication such as an IP telephone or IP telephone conference etc., using a fixed band transmission line. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission band control apparatus 30a of its own station monitors the concentration of 100BASE-TX data in real-time communication from an IP telephone 7a etc. which are supplied via a layer 3 switch 15a, notifies a transmission band control apparatus 30b in an opposite station when determining that there is a possibility of overflow, synchronizes the data, reduces a transmission band in a radio section of 100BASE-TX data in real-time communication from a personal computer 12a etc., and expands a transmission band in a radio section of real-time communication of the IP telephone 7a as much as the reduced transmission band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
