PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish film with appropriate density at the time of forming an image by correcting the influence of the change with time of the characteristics of a device without performing calibration. SOLUTION: The image processing device is provided with an exposure means 120 for forming the image on the film as a latent image based on image data and also exposing a part of the film on which the image is formed with previously set exposure or output arithmetically calculated via a lookup table (LUT) with respect to designated density, a developing means 130 for developing the exposed film to visualize the image, a measuring means 200 for measuring the density of the partial area of the film exposed by the exposure means and developed by the developing means, and a storage means 250 for storing a result on the measurement of the density of the partial area of the film measured by the measuring means. The device is provided with a calculation means 150 for arithmetically calculating the characteristic change model of the exposure means and/or the developing means inherent to the device based on the result on the measurement of the density associated with film processing stored in the storage means 250.
