PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of replacement of a lamp in a lighting system and ensure a sufficient maintenance space when replacing lamps. SOLUTION: This lighting system in an elevator car is constituted in such a way that the lighting system 10 using a cold cathode fluorescent lamp having small diameter is attached to, for example, a side plate 3 and a baseboard 8 constituting a part of the elevator car 1 to attach the lighting system even in a space in which each constituent body of the elevator car is small.
