PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle including a parking assisting device capable of assisting a driver to safely park the vehicle without causing the driver to feel troublesome by making the parking assistance device work together with a surrounding condition monitoring system such as a corner sensor system and allowing the driver to correspond with detection information from the surrounding condition monitoring system such as the corner sensor system, in the vehicle with the parking assisting device. SOLUTION: This parking assisting device comprises a parking assisting device for assisting the driver in parking in a target parking section; a surrounding condition monitoring system 30 monitoring whether or not a matter is present around the vehicle and informing the driver of a presence of the matter when the matter is present; and a control device 24 for controlling an operation of the parking assisting device when an obstacle matter detecting signal from the surrounding condition monitoring system 30 is detected during operation of the parking assisting device.
