摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure, superior in cooling performance, for a rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: This rotating electric machine is provided with a rotor that rotates integrally with a rotor shaft supported by a casing, in such a way as to be rotatable freely, and a stator that has a plurality of stator cores 1 wound with stator coils 2 in the circumferential direction. The stator, formed on the surface where the stator cores 1 face the stator coils 2, is provided with an insulating portion 3 that prevents the stator cores 1 from conducting to the stator coils 2, a thermal conducting portion 4, that is formed on the insulating portion 3 and capable of conducting the heat generated by the stator coils 2 wound on its surrounding, and a cooling path 5, formed between the stator coils 2 wound on the stator cores 1 and its surrounding, cools the heat conducted to the thermal conducting portion 4 by passing a coolant through the path 5.
