PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize the cost reduction and the downsizing of a circuit by making a switching power supply circuit which is adaptive to a wide range, being equipped with a power factor improving function. SOLUTION: A composite resonance type converter, where a partial resonant voltage circuit is combined with a current resonance type converter by a half bridge coupling system, is so constituted as to perform switching control so that a rectifying circuit for generating DC input voltage (Ei) may be a voltage doubler rectifying circuit below AC150V and a voltage equalizer rectifying circuit above AC150V. The improvement of power factor is performed in such a manner as to enlarge the angle of conduction of an AC input current by feeding back the voltage of the switching output excited in secondary winding to a rectified current path and intermitting the rectified current, in a transformer for voltage feedback which is constituted to input primary switching output by primary winding.
