PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor system and its method with an efficient shift operation having an extraction operation. SOLUTION: An electronic system 2001for operating an argument D[31:0] having an integer bit is obtained. This system has an input R for receiving a right directional argument and an input L for receiving a left directional argument. This system also has a circuit 200 for generating a first data input having an integer bit, by rotating the argument of the input data in response to first and second directional arguments. This system furthermore has a circuit for supplying corrected data output 502, wherein this circuit has a circuit for selecting a bit of a first set from a first data output as a first part of the corrected data output and a circuit for selecting a bit of a second set from a source other than the first data output as a second part of the corrected data output.
