METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE MODULE AND APPARATUS FOR OPENING BUNDLE OF HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane module which has hollow fiber membranes showing only small unevenness in distribution and no leakage in a resin fixing part, and to provide an apparatus for opening a bundle of hollow fiber membranes which opens the bundle of the hollow fiber membranes to eliminate uneven distribution of the hollow fiber membranes. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the hollow fiber membrane module comprises the steps of: bundling the hollow fiber membranes to obtain the bundle 32 of the hollow fiber membranes; jetting a gas toward the bundle 32; housing the gas-sprayed bundle 32 in a case; and fixing the housed bundle 32 in the case by using a fixing resin. An apparatus 50 for opening the bundle 32 is provided with: a transport means (a take-up unit 51) for transporting the bundle 32; a gas treating means for subjecting the gas to be jetted to corona discharge treatment; and a gas jetting means (a nozzle 54) for jetting the corona discharge-treated gas toward the bundle 32 being transported.
