PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a volatilization apparatus which is safely and easily handled without making a finger tip etc. contact a laminated-honeycombvolatile body ocoated or applied with a volatile chemical by releasing an engaging tool so as to automatically open the apparatus. SOLUTION: The volatilization apparatus consists of: a container main body; an opening and closing lid fitted to this container main body biased in an opening direction so as to be opened; an engaging tool for engaging this opening and closing lid with the container main body in a closed state; and the laminated-honeycomb volatile body whose one end is fixed to the inside of the container main body, the other end of which is fixed to the inner wall surface of the opening and closing lid and which holds the volatile chemical such as a deodorizer, a perfuming agent, an insecticide.
